Good afternoon, Robina Families,
We have a couple of “Food” days ahead we wanted to share with you! As you know, Robina Baker was successful at receiving the PC Nutrition Grant. With that, throughout the year we have been able to offer some great nutrition opportunities for students. Good news - we successfully secured this grant again for next year!
Next Thursday, we are going to have a “Grilled Cheese” day where students will have an opportunity to enjoy a delicious grilled cheese! We are looking for a few parents willing to help us out with preparations. If you are interested, please fill out this Google form. We’d need some help from about 10:00 - 1:00 that day, and we’d greatly appreciate any help you can offer!
In June, watch for “Wrap Wednesday”. Students will again have an opportunity to create their own wraps. We’ll also have one final smoothie day on a Friday where students will all enjoy a special smoothie from the smoothie cart!
As the week draws to a close, we wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you to Ms. Magee. Ms. Magee has been supporting our Grade 4B classroom since January. Though Ms. Magee would have liked to have finished off the year, she had previous commitments in May and June. In the meantime, we wish to welcome Ms. Stasiewich. Ms. S recently completed her degree and her student teaching with Mrs. Forchuk. We know she will take great care of Grade 4B for the remainder of the school year.
Finally, to all the wonderful Mom’s out there - Happy Mother’s Day! Thank you for bringing your children into our world and for being there each step of the way!

Spell-a-thon Success!
We’re thrilled to share that our recent Spell-a-thon raised an incredible $10,356.55—a huge thank you to everyone who made this possible! Your generosity helps support amazing programs at our school, including upcoming subsidized swimming lessons and a special event we'll be announcing soon.
A heartfelt thank you to our students, families, and teachers for your enthusiasm and support, and to the friends and relatives who sponsored our spellers. 🎓📸 Spring Photo Days Next Week!
We're capturing special moments as Kindergarten and Grade 4 students celebrate big milestones—Kinders are moving up, and Grade 4s are moving on! Plus we will have a group photo for every class. Only grade 4 and Kindegarten students will get an individual photo.
🧒 Kindergarten students will wear a graduation cap and hold a scroll (provided) for their individual photos.
🎒 Grade 4 students can bring an item that represents something meaningful from this year—like ballet slippers, a book, or even a game controller!
📸 Group Class Photos for all classes will be taken on Wednesday, May 14.
📷 Grade 4 Celebration Photos will be taken on Thursday, May 15.

Library Corner
Grades PreK, K, 1 - 1 book
Grades 2, 3 - 2 books
Grade 4 - 3 books
Please return the books a week later when it is your student’s library day. Books can be renewed! Just have your child ask me to do that.
Overdue notices - Some of you are getting reminders when a book is more than a week overdue and more than 3 weeks overdue. After a month, the book will be marked as lost. (see below)
Lost Books - I have marked some of the students’ books as lost and the amount will be added to your PowerSchool account. Please be assured that if the book is found, the amount will be deleted. These are books that have been out for more than a month. For all of these, I have done a thorough search of the library for the book. Please encourage your child to check their classroom shelves as well.
