Good afternoon, Families,

We hope you had a wonderful and restful Spring Break! Our staff returned to the building recharged, inspired, and ready to support our amazing school community.

We hit the ground running this week! Here are just a few of the incredible highlights from around the school:

  • đŸ„ž A Taste of Middle School: Our Grade 4s attended the annual Pancake Breakfast at Riverview Middle School! This is a fantastic tradition and the perfect first glimpse of Riverview for our students who will be transitioning there in the fall.
  • 🎂 Cake Walk Fun: The Grade 4s also hosted their highly anticipated annual Cake Walk at lunch today—and the fun continues with another round this evening!
  • 👟 Big Steps for Kindergarten: Our Kindergarteners started joining the rest of the school outside for recess this week! This is a massive "Grade 1" milestone for them, and we are so proud of how well they are doing.
  • đŸ»â€â„ïž Arctic Explorers: It was incredible to watch our Grade 2s present their technology research projects all about Arctic animals. We have some very impressive researchers in our building!
  • đŸŽ€ Poetry in Motion: Mrs. Milson’s Grade 3 class has truly brought poetry to life! Every morning on the announcements, we’ve been treated to their voices in the epic April Poetry Battle. There has been some phenomenal sharing happening.
  • 📝 Great Spelling: A huge well done to all of our students who did an amazing job on their Spell-a-thon tests this week! Your hard work and practice truly paid off, and we are so proud of your effort.

Finally, a quick reminder that our Spring Dance is tonight! We cannot wait to celebrate with you and hope to see everyone there.

Have a fantastic weekend!

afternoon,

Warmly,

Mr. Coffin & Mrs. Kirton

Club Moo

Club Moo Program

A big thank you to all the parents who have ordered milk tickets for our Club Moo program! đŸ„›

Leadership students will be helping by fulfilling and delivering milk orders to each class (Kindergarten to Grade 4) at lunchtime every day.

Parents can purchase milk tickets through PowerSchool: 20 tickets (white or chocolate) for $20.

We hope to provide a 3-day turnaround. Thank you for your patience as we develop our Club Moo Program

How to use your tickets:

  • Send them all at once – Cut the tickets apart and return them in a baggie or envelope. They will be kept in your child’s reading bag, and your child can decide when to use them.
  • Send them as needed – Place one ticket in your child’s reading bag on the days you’d like them to have milk.
