Remembrance Day Ceremony

Remembrance Day26

We invite all families to join us for our Remembrance Day Ceremony on Friday, November 6 at 10:45 a.m. This special event is a time for our school community to come together in honour of those who have served our country and our community.

We encourage all students and staff to dress nicely as a sign of respect for the ceremony. Students involved in Brownies, Scouts, or similar organizations are welcome to wear their uniforms.

The Devon Legion has generously provided poppies for all students. If you wish to send a donation, we will ensure it is passed along to the Legion with our gratitude.

Land Acknowledgement

We acknowledge that we are on Treaty 6 territory, a traditional meeting grounds, gathering place, and travelling route to the Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Métis, Dene and Nakota Sioux. We acknowledge all the many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit whose footsteps have marked these lands for centuries.
