Dear Robina Families,

December always brings a sense of joy and cheer to the building, and we are excited about everything that is to come!

Next week is a busy one with our Book Fair, Parent-Teacher Meetings, Cookie Decorating (and family games), and a School Council event.

December is also about GIVING. Next week, we will be running a week-long food drive campaign. The Leduc Food Bank is a wonderful organization that supports families in our area, including some of our own. If you are able, please consider sending a donation to school. Each student who donates will be entered to win “Comfy Couch” tickets for our Winter Concert—these are the best seats in the house and eliminate the need to wait in line! If your family is not able to donate at this time, that is absolutely okay—students can pick up a colouring sheet from the office instead to enter. Let’s take this opportunity to give back together.

Speaking of giving back, our School Council has organized a fundraiser for next Thursday evening. We also received a generous donation of a “Grinch Tree” for one of our teachers. On today’s announcements, we spun the wheel and Mrs. Rothfos was the lucky winner! A big thank-you to this parent for their generosity and for recognizing the hard work of our staff.

Finally, a quick note that medical absences have been increasing for both students and staff. ’Tis the season for some tough bugs. If your child is unwell, please keep them home—this greatly helps prevent illness from spreading through classrooms and among staff.

Be safe this weekend—the ice has arrived and seems to be here to stay!

Club Moo

Club Moo Program

A big thank you to all the parents who have ordered milk tickets for our Club Moo program! 🥛

Leadership students will be helping by fulfilling and delivering milk orders to each class (Kindergarten to Grade 4) at lunchtime every day.

Parents can purchase milk tickets through PowerSchool: 20 tickets (white or chocolate) for $20.

We hope to provide a 3-day turnaround. Thank you for your patience as we develop our Club Moo Program

How to use your tickets:

  • Send them all at once – Cut the tickets apart and return them in a baggie or envelope. They will be kept in your child’s reading bag, and your child can decide when to use them.
  • Send them as needed – Place one ticket in your child’s reading bag on the days you’d like them to have milk.
