Good afternoon, Robina Families,
This week was full of movement! Students participated in swimming and dance lessons all week!
Swimming Lessons - A huge thank you to the Town of Devon who provided us with our swimming lessons again this year. Shoutout to everyone who contributed to our Sepllathon fundraiser, as this helped offset the cost of lessons for every individual!
DanceEd - Wow! Our students, staff, and families showed up! Students danced all week, which ended in a magnificent show in our school gymnasium. Thank you to everyone who made this a success - we were able to bring this residency to our school using funds from our School Council as well our Spellathon.
The end of this week marks the end of the journey for our Pre-K and Kinder families. Congratulations on finishing your first year of ECS! We are excited to see you in Kinder and Grade 1 next year!
Next Week:
Monday - Mrs. Kaluza and Mrs. Kirton have planned to incorporate Indigenous Learning into our annual Fun Day afternoon to help recognize Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21. Be sure to check out the Town of Devon events leading up to June 21.
Tuesday - Students participate in Free Swim as part of our swimming program. We always need lots of volunteers in the pool on this day, so please reach out to your child’s teacher if you can support.
Wednesday - Kona Ice Truck will be here to provide shaved ice to all of our students! The school is covering the cost of this for our students! In the afternoon, we will celebrate our Grade 4’s who are finishing their time at Robina at 1:00 in the gym.
Wednesday - Report cards will be available on PowerSchool at the end of the day on Wednesday.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Warmly,
Mr. Coffin & Mrs. Kirton
