Admin Corner
Hello Robina Families,
As we come to the close of another wonderful year at Robina Baker Elementary, I am filled with gratitude and pride. This year, our staff embraced the challenge to lean in—to try new things, explore new ideas, and grow as educators. In doing so, they created incredible opportunities for student growth, and the results have been inspiring.
Our students, from our youngest learners in Pre-K to our Grade 4 leaders, have shown the true spirit of learning. Whether they were beginning their reading journey, learning through play, or becoming more confident readers, writers, and mathematicians, their curiosity and determination shone through. We celebrated their growth not only academically, but in character as well—living out the values of the Seven Sacred Teachings that guided us during our assemblies and daily interactions.
Beyond the classroom, this year was filled with memorable experiences that help make school such a special place. From exciting field trips and inspiring guest speakers, to floor hockey tournaments, collaborative art projects, wellness days, nutrition days, and of course, our much-anticipated annual winter concert—these moments have created lasting memories for our students and staff alike.
We are so fortunate to have the support of our wonderful families and community. Together, we continue to make Robina Baker a place where children feel cared for and inspired to do their best.
As we say goodbye to our Grade 4 students, we wish them all the best on their next adventure at Riverview Middle School. We are confident that the spirit of Robina will live on in each of them, and we hope they always know they are welcome back to visit us anytime!
Next year will bring lots of new beginnings, and we are excited for the journey ahead. You can find more Summer Information below and on our website. The office will reopen on August 20th, and you can expect to hear from the school before August 22nd regarding class placements. Finally, please mark your calendars for August 25th - we will have our annual Welcome Back BBQ at 4:00 PM.
Thank you for a fantastic year—I look forward to what we will accomplish together next year!
