What a whirlwind week we have had! It was so wonderful to have students back in the building after an exciting and restful summer. The school was busy with students getting back into the groove of routines. Throughout the year in the principal’s corner; we hope to provide you with insights into the school. On our first days before the school year started, we met with both our teaching and support staff to share some back-to-school messages. These same messages we hope to share with our parent community as well. The first of four pillars that we shared with the staff was to “Let Learning Guide You”. We are absolutely committed to learning and want to ensure that all of our students are prepared and ready to learn. This year, teachers will carefully craft their lessons and engage in learning themselves so they can best support their students. We are committed to having open-to-learning discussions with one another as staff members, but also with our community as well. Each decision we make at the school is to help your child become the best learner possible. We look forward to engaging with you in dialogue about how we can best support your child’s success and achieve the goal of being an engaged and thoughtful learner. We want to work in partnership with you to be sure that we are doing all we can to support your child’s educational journey.

In future updates; we hope to share with you more of our outlook for the year. Until then, we wish you all a wonderful and safe long weekend!
