The Black Gold School Division Board of Trustees has approved the renaming process for École Coloniale Estates School. The decision reflects the Board’s commitment to creating a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all students, staff, parents/guardians, and community members.

We want to be clear that considering a name change is not about erasing our history. It’s about recognizing the full truth of our shared history, and choosing to move forward in a way that welcomes and respects everyone in our school community.

This is an opportunity for all of us – students, staff, parents/guardians, and community members – to write a new chapter together; one that celebrates Beaumont and honours our shared values and aspirations.
