Good afternoon, Robina Families,

Wow, did we ever welcome the rain this week! It was a WET week but a fun week of learning.

A few reminders as we enter the last few weeks of school:

  • Field Trips - There are several classes going on field trips this coming week. It is very important that permission forms are signed ahead of time and fees are paid. This allows us to ensure that outstanding payments to different businesses are paid before the end of our school year. This helps us maintain a good relationship so we can go back for more future trips!
  • to miss- Permission forms and payment are due. Please ensure this is done ASAP so we can get the level information to the pool ahead of time.
  • If, at any time, you are experiencing financial difficulties, please connect with Mr. Coffin. We don’t want any child to miss out!

Generous Donation

  • We are thankful to Your Independent Grocer in Devon, who generously donated $2500 to the school during their grand re-opening this morning! We frequently use Independent as a business to support our nutritional needs at the school. We are so thankful for this donation and their support of our school, students, and staff. Next time you are in the store, be sure to thank them for their support!

Congratulations to all our athletes who competed in the track meet today at Riverview Middle School. This is a huge undertaking by RMS to organize all the elementary students from across the division. Also, a huge thank you to the teachers for their time organizing and coaching our students. The countless hours of effort and work outside of their school time is appreciated!

Make sure to watch for our students in the Robina Baker parade tomorrow for Devon Days! A great way to share all that is great about Robina!

Finally, next Wednesday morning we will be hosting a small volunteer appreciation event! We appreciate every parent and caregiver who supports our school in some form or another. Be sure to stop by the front of the school that morning for a quick treat and coffee to start off your day. This is just a small token of appreciation for all our volunteers do for us!

Warmly,

Mr. Coffin & Mrs. Kirton

Thank You

You Pour Your Heart Into Our School—Let Us Pour You a Coffee!

Our school is powered by the kindness and dedication of our volunteers. On Wednesday, June 10, we want to celebrate you! Please stop by our coffee station between 7:45 AM and 8:45 AM for a complimentary breakfast treat and a warm drink.

Whether you’re rushing to work or heading home after drop-off, we hope this little "Pick-Me-Up" reminds you just how much we appreciate your "tea-riffic" support! It’s just a small way for us to say thank you for being the "premium blend" that makes our school community so special.

We want to say thank you to all of our volunteers who so generously gave their time and energy this year!  If you have come to the school to help out, gone on a field trip, supplied food or treats to the classes, photocopied, laminated, worked hot lunch, put away library books, read to kids, tied skates, or gone on a walk (you get the idea), we hope you can stop by for a little “Pick-Me-Up”:

  • When: Wednesday, June 10 | 7:45 AM – 8:45 AM
  • Where: The Front of Robina Baker
  • What: Fresh coffee, tea, and muffins to-go!
