Admin Corner
We had another wonderful School Council and Fundraising Society Meeting this week. The excitement is starting to build for our new park which will break ground next month. We had a few new faces come to our meeting which was great to see. As the group gears up for the AGM in June we invite you to reach out to learn more about how you can be involved with them. You can contact them here.
Our group took on some learning at the council meeting as well as they welcomed a presentation for a new Hot Lunch platform. We are also extremely grateful as they have donated funds back to the school to pay for our agendas and book pouches for next year! Thank you!
The School Council is organizing a school dance that will take place on April 26th! Mark your calendars. This will also mark the return of the famous Grade 4 Cake Walk which helps raise funds for Camp Warwa.
It was inspiring this week to see the learning and dedication that took place in our classrooms. The annual Spell-a-thon took place this week and based on the chatter there was so much growth and improvement with students. Well done! We want to acknowledge and thank everyone who sponsored a child for the Spell-a-thon – the funds raised will go to excellent use in our building to help offset costs such as field trips, technology upgrades, and guest speakers to name a few!
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!

Moving Up & On Photos
The Kindergarten and Grade 4 students have individual Celebration Photos as Kinders are moving up and the Grade 4s are moving on and we like to take their photos as a part of their celebration. The Grade 4s can bring in an item that represents something important to them this year (For example ballet slippers if they were in dance, or a game console). Kindergarten students will have a Graduation cap and scroll provided for their photos.
