Good Afternoon Robina Families,
We are in the home stretch before the holiday break! Our hearts are bursting with gratitude for the wonderful community we live in! A highlight from this week was Thursday evening. Our Mental Health Capacity Building Team helped us host a Cookie Decorating and Craft evening for families. This was a free event that even had hot dogs to enjoy. It was so great to see families come together to visit and spend time with one another. Thank you to those who were able to make it and we hope to see everyone else at the next event! We are thankful for our Devon community.
Next week is Winter Concert Week! Mr. Scott and all our students and staff have been working hard to put on a great show. Please see below for information about concert times. Our evening performance on Thursday is usually very well attended. If you are looking for a little quieter performance, we strongly recommend that you attend our afternoon performance as it is usually a little less busy. This is a great suggestion for our grandparents and extended relatives. Also, we have more snow this year than we did last year. As such, to help our custodial team out, please ensure that your footwear is dry and clean. You are welcome to place your shoes on the shelf if they are too wet or dirty. Thank you for helping us help our wonderful custodial team.
Finally, our Fundraising Society is very much in need of Casino volunteers for March. This is a very huge fundraiser for the school and only comes around once every three to four years. If you are able to, please see the information below and consider volunteering some of your time. They need to complete the paperwork in December, so please let the committee know if you are thinking about volunteering.
We are excited to see you next week and for the hustle and bustle that will lead us into the holiday break!

Concert Comfy Couch
On both evening Winter concerts, we will be running our Comfy Couch Contest for a student to win the best seats in the house. The winner’s family or any other guest can sit front row and centre. Students can enter by bringing in a food donation to the Leduc & District Food Bank, or by colouring one of our “Winter Concert” posters. The posters are available in the office.
Food Bank Drive
The Leduc Food Bank is a frequent donor to us and the school. They often supply snacks for our snack bins as well as sandwiches to students in need. This holiday season, the hockey team of one of our students is organizing a food drive! We have a large box set up in the foyer. Please, if you are able, feel free to bring in a donation. We’d love to have the box overflowing! If a student brings a donation they will also be entered into our annual Comfy Couch Draw for our Christmas Concert. We recognize that not everyone may be able to donate so we also have Raptor Colouring sheets in the office for students to pick up to colour should they wish to be entered into the draw.

- Students have looked at the new books acquired through the Book Fair so far. They put some books on hold and next week the books will start circulating. Thanks again!

- Grades K and 1 – 1 book
