ASSEMBLY THIS WEEK
We had a short assembly this week as we are in Christmas concert practice mode. Our grade 4s were away at Rabbit Hill to enjoy some skiing. You can click on the link below for a look at our agenda:
We also had our special NAX visitors come for a visit! It is so exciting when the come to RBES! In 3A they helped make Gingerbread houses and they were involved in many crafts or activities in all classrooms.

CHRISTMAS CONCERT
We are so excited to be able to present “A Holly Jolly Christmas Concert” this year. Here is some information to ensure you hold the date and time in your calendars. Additional information will be shared next week!
Tuesday, December 20 – Grades 1-4
Dress Rehearsal – 1:00 pm
This will be a run-through of the full program to allow us to sort out small details. There may be starts and stops to finalize some details, but parents are welcome to come and watch.
Evening Christmas Concert – 6:00 pm
We are working out the details on a new format and will be ready to share soon. Grade 1s and 2s will be in the first part of the evening and the Grade 3s and 4s will be in the second half.
Wednesday, December 21 – Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten
Christmas Concert – 6:15 pm
The pre-K concert will be in the Meeting Place at 6:15 and the Kindergarten concert will be at approximately 6:30 pm in the gym. The Kinder concert will not start until the Pre-K concert is done in order to allow families who have children in both groups the opportunity to see each concert. This format should allow the Pre-K group a more comfortable and less overwhelming experience.

JANUARY HOT LUNCH
Hot lunch orders are due each Thursday ONE WEEK prior to each order. You have the option to order one week at a time or multiple weeks at a time in PowerSchool. If you have any questions, please contact the office.
The Christmas Elves were delighted with the cards they received from our RBES Kindness Club. Each delivery from the Christmas Elves included a handmade card from our students. How wonderful that our crew was featured in the Devon Dispatch! Way to go RBES! This week we will be delivering some Christmas Cards to Discovery Place!
