ASSEMBLY THIS WEEK
We had another great school wide assembly and continued to work on the theme of Gratitude. A number of our students wrote impressively long and well thought out lists of things they are grateful for. It is so fun to hear all the students singing and learning the Robina Baker song. You can see the assembly agenda by clicking on the button below:
Grade 3 & 4 SADD Project
Grade 3/4 students have been working hard to create artwork on paper liquor bags to support the SADD (Students Against Drunk Driving) campaign this holiday season. The bags with these messages to encourage residents to stay safe and refrain from drinking and driving will be handed out in Devon throughout December. Students did an excellent job at adding messaging to both sides of their bags!

This online raffle will support our Parent Fundraising Committee in paying for the Mathletics subscription and classroom supply budgets for RBES for the 22/23 school year.
Tickets are only available online with 1 for $10, 4 for $20, 20 for $50 and 100 for $100. Don’t forget to choose your child’s class.

CHRISTMAS CONCERT
We are so excited to be able to present “A Holly Jolly Christmas Concert” this year. Here is some information to ensure you hold the date and time in your calendars. Additional information will be shared next week!
Tuesday, December 20 – Grades 1-4
Dress Rehearsal – 1:00 pm
This will be a run-through of the full program to allow us to sort out small details. There may be starts and stops to finalize some details, but parents are welcome to come and watch.
Evening Christmas Concert – 6:00 pm
We are working out the details on a new format and will be ready to share soon. Grade 1s and 2s will be in the first part of the evening and the Grade 3s and 4s will be in the second half.
Wednesday, December 21 – Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten
Christmas Concert – 6:15 pm
Pre-K concert will be in the Meeting Place at 6:15 and the Kindergarten concert will be at approximately 6:30 pm in the gym. The Kinder concert will not start until the Pre-K concert is done in order to allow families who have children in both groups the opportunity to see each concert. This format should allow the Pre-K group a more comfortable and less overwhelming experience.

DECEMBER HOT LUNCH
Hot lunch orders are due each Thursday ONE WEEK prior to each order. You have the option to order one week at a time or multiple weeks at a time in PowerSchool. If you have any questions, please contact the office.
KINDNESS CLUB
This month a Kindness Club was started for Grade 3 and 4 students. There were so many students that joined! The Kindness Club has a few projects on the go for the month of December. Their first project was to create cards to give to the Christmas Elves to hand out with the gift cards that support families in need. The students are really excited to pay kindness forward and it has been exciting to hear their ideas. Once the students get into a routine, Mrs. Kloschinsky, will share details with the parents of the students who have joined and are participating in the projects.
