Our students are continuing to learn about different ways to show kindness. Today we learned about different ways we can greet each other and that it is important to be mindful of how someone would like to receive a greeting.

RAD RAPTORS:

Congratulations to our RAD Raptors from last week! Their names went into today’s draw for Pizza with the Principal.

Congratulations to our Pizza with the Principal draw winners! A time will be sorted out next week to enjoy lunch in the office.

PASSPORT TO FAMILY WELLNESS

Despite cold temperatures, many families came out to enjoy our Wellness event. We would like to send out a big THANK YOU to our MHCB (Mental Health Capacity Building) team and to Kosmos Restaurant in Leduc for partnering with us on this event. These partnerships allow us to host family events for free. I would like to add an EXTRA SPECIAL shout out to our staff that stayed to help set up, work stations, or clean up. Our families enjoyed a taco supper together, that was catered by Kosmos, and then everyone had an opportunity to visit a number of Wellness stations to try a variety of activities. SCHOOL COUNCIL & FUNDRAISING MEETINGS

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION

Kindergarten registration is now open for the 2023-2024 school year.

Children may begin Kindergarten in a school within the Black Gold School Division in September if they are at least 4 years 8 months old as of August 31 of the respective school year.

We encourage families to register early as this helps us with our planning. Please note that programs and class preferences are subject to change based on enrollment, space and program viability.

With a focus on student safety, we appreciate you taking the time to let us know when your child will not be at school. To make it easier, we have this quick form you can use, or call the office and leave a message at 780-987-3705.
