    QUICK NOTE

Holiday celebrations, parties, food from home, treats, bake sales etc. at RBES is something that has changed over the last few years due to the Pandemic. This has been something that we have been slow to address due to a number of reasons. Mrs. Kloschinsky is working with a group of other Black Gold principals to create a set of guidelines. As part of this process there are also some new AHS recommendations to consider as well. There will be information coming out very soon. If you have any questions prior to that time, please contact our office team.

    ASSEMBLY

We are continuing our theme of Good Manners this week. The students have been working extra hard to practice on their manners outside of assembly time as well.

You can see our agenda by clicking on the button below:

    CONGRATULATIONS:

Our students love our random prize draws in assemblies! You can see this week’s draw winners below:

    KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION

Kindergarten registration is now open for the 2023-2024 school year.

Children may begin Kindergarten in a school within the Black Gold School Division in September if they are at least 4 years 8 months old as of August 31 of the respective school year.

We encourage families to register early as this helps us with our planning. Please note that programs and class preferences are subject to change based on enrollment, space and program viability.

    SCHOOL SAFETY

You may have noticed during drop off and pick up times that we sometimes have Peace Officers around the school to help us keep the school safe. Please ensure that you are slowing down in our school zone and that you are mindful of students crossing at the main crosswalk.

Additionally: Please only use the handicapped parking spot if you have a handicapped parking placard. We have a number of families that require this space and it has been marked to help support those with difficulties.

PARKING SPOTS out front: Please don’t occupy these spaces for lengthy periods of time to visit with other parents. Parking is limited and we encourage you to be timely, so that we can keep the flow of traffic moving and allow as many drop offs as possible to happen in a safe manner.

    RBES SCHOOL COUNCIL
