ASSEMBLY HIGHLIGHTS

This month we are working on Friendship and Good Manners. We listened to Whoopi’s Big Book of Manners read by the author, Whoopi Goldberg. Of course we had to include some prizes as we still have a number of books and things to give-away! Congratulations to all of our draw winners!

Masks & Test Kits

Robina Baker has not received a shipment yet. We will email you as soon as it arrives!

As you know, the Government of Alberta (GOA) will be supplying Rapid COVID-19 Antigen Test Kits and medical-grade disposable masks to schools for distribution to families and staff. The GOA is providing 2 Rapid Test Kits (5 rapid tests per kit) and an 8 week supply of masks for every student and staff member in our schools.

A how-to video for parents and a rapid test program fact sheet translated into multiple languages offers tips on how to use the rapid test kits.

You must complete the permission form available on PowerSchool to receive your masks and test kit. As soon as we receive our shipment we will distribute them to the families who have completed the permission form.

These items will not be distributed to households who do not complete this form.

One form must be completed for each of your children.

If you do not want your test kits or masks to g home in your child’s backpack, please complete this form. We will email parents as soon as we have the kits ready to go home.

Reporting An Absence Online

We are so thankful for the parents who have started using our online form to let us know when their children will not be at school! It sure has helped to make our process more efficient in the mornings due to the large number of absences. You can always call and leave a message too – 780-987-3705.

SCHOOL COUNCIL/FUNDRAISER MEETING
