The Staff of RBES would like to wish all of our students and their families a wonderful summer! Students worked hard and it was a year filled with much success; and many milestones and goals were achieved. It is a time to rest, relax, and recharge!
FAREWELL GRADE 4
Good Luck and Best Wishes to all of our Grade 4 students! It was a fun and emotional last few days. They each created some slides to highlight their best parts of the year!
CELEBRATION OF LEARNING
Congratulations to all of our students who received awards during our Celebration of Learning evening. Thank you to all families that attended. Our first two featured photos are of our Raptor Award Recipients. This is an award only given out to Grade 4 students. We would like to extend an extra special congratulations to Emily and Thea on their well deserved recognition!

CONGRATULATIONS!
It was a jam packed couple of weeks of Celebration and heartfelt farewells. Our students and staff honored our three office team members who are moving on to other adventures. There were special projects, songs, assemblies, and stories to honor our beloved office team.
We would like to extend Happy Retirement wishes to Mrs. Culp and offer our Best Wishes and Congratulations to Dr. Murtha-Toles and Mrs. Kloschinsky who are both moving on to other schools. We will miss all of you!
It was a sea of PINK for our last assembly and the students did an amazing job of singing this song to Mrs. K! She was definitely surprised!

We are so PROUD of Mrs. Porter and her PK team and program. They do AMAZING things for students and no one is more committed to ensuring “every child succeeds”. Congratulations on a well deserved nomination Mrs. Porter!

FALL 2023 STAFF
Welcome to our new staff: Mr. Coffin, Mrs. Kirton, Mr. Scott, and Mrs. Christian! You can see the grade level assignments for classrooms below.
FALL INFORMATION MESSAGE:
At the end of August you will receive a letter from your child’s new teacher welcoming them to their class.
The first day of school for Grade 1-4 students is Wednesday, August 30. If you know your child will not be at school on their first day, or any day, please report their absence here.
Kindergarten students staggered entry dates will be emailed to you. For our Pre-K families, we will send you more detailed information in the later part of summer as well.
School supply information and lists can be found on our website.
Additional Summer and September Information can be found on our website on our home page and under the parents tab.
We will have a Meet the Staff Event for all of our families on Tuesday, August 29 from 4:30 to 6:00 pm. During the summer, please contact our new Principal, Mr. Coffin, by email: [email protected] if you have any questions or concerns.
PLAYGROUND UPDATE
PRE-K & KINDER REGISTRATION
REMINDER to register your children for Kindergarten or Pre-K as soon as possible if you have not had the chance to do so. This allows us to create accurate class lists for the fall. We also have MEET and GREETs for all of our September 2023 PK and K students in the upcoming week. Please call us for details and to register asap!
Children may begin Kindergarten in a school within the Black Gold School Division in September if they are at least 4 years 8 months old as of August 31 of the respective school year.
