    SPECIAL ASSEMBLY – NED SHOW

Last week our students enjoyed participating in the interactive NED Mindset Mission presentation. NED stands for Never give up, Encourage others, and Do your best.  This school performance involved storytelling, puppetry, illusions, and yoyo tricks to take the students on a journey with the character NED.

The students learned about the Power of Yet – If you’re not good at something, it just means you’re not good at it…YET, how to spark courage in others through the use of kind words, and how to keep learning and growing, even when you think you already know something. Such a powerful message! We are able to have this assembly through a Pay-It-Forward program. Another school had a NED show to support us and now through Yoyo sales, we shall support another future school in having this opportunity.

    ASSEMBLY

Students have been learning about PERSEVERANCE this month. It is the perfect time to learn to “Keep Trying” even when we are tired and don’t feel like doing something anymore. There have been many interesting sharing sessions with students!

    PIZZA WITH THE PRINCIPAL

What a fun last Pizza with the Principal with Mrs. K. We were sad that one of our winners was not here, but the rest of this crew enjoyed some fun conversation and yummy pizza together! Thank you to Pizza Hut for sponsoring this great prize for our students this year!

    CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR DRAW WINNERS

Our Lucky Recipients this week received some fun footballs that were donated to our prize bin. There may be several more of these handed out in the next few days!

    CAMP WARWA

Our Grade 4 students had a blast at the Annual Year End Camp Warwa field trip! You can see some highlights below and teachers will share photo folders with all Grade 4 parents. Thank you to all of our VOLUNTEERS! These special activities would not be possible without your support. An EXTRA special THANK YOU once again to all of those parents who helped get donations from their places of business to make this year’s trip extra affordable. You have helped a lot of children to have the opportunity to experience and create lifetime memories!
