RAK WINNERS
Congratulations to the latest Random Acts of Kindness Chart winners! We have now surpassed 300 Random Acts of Kindness at RBES. Each time we fill a new chart of 100 Kind Acts we do a draw. This is our second group of draw winners and our third group will be featured next week.
STUDENT LED CONFERENCES
All parents are invited to come to the school on Wednesday, March 16 for Student Led Conferences. Please plan to bring your child with you and aim to spend approximately 15 minutes with them in their classroom doing activities.
This is not a parent-teacher interview. If you would like to speak one on one with the teacher about your child’s progress, please reach out to them to set this up at a separate time.
Parents and their child(ren) can come by when it is convenient for them between 3:30 – 6:45. We encourage a 15 minute time frame in each classroom to ensure everyone has an opportunity to visit and do a couple of activities with their child.
We are excited to welcome our parents back into the building and look forward to meeting some of you in person for the first time! If you have any questions, please email or call your child’s classroom teacher.
NUTRITION CHALLENGE

PRE-KINDERGARTEN
Free Pre-Kindergarten screening IS NOW AVAILABLE!
Do you have a pre-school age child who struggles with following directions, communication, separation anxiety, temper tantrums, changes in schedule or other developmental milestones? Consider having an intake screening and find out if your child can qualify for Pre-kindergarten with us.
ELECTRONICS RECYCLING ROUNDUP
You can help divert electronic waste from landfills and raise money for our school! From February 28 to March 25 please bring any old computers, televisions, printers, phones, cameras and a number of electronics. For a complete list of products, and more information – click here.
GRADE 4 PARENT MEETING
All grade 4 parents are invited to attend an in-person meeting on Tuesday, March 22 at 6:15 pm in the RBES gym. This meeting is for parents only, please do not bring children to this event. This meeting is to discuss the year end Camp Warwa field trip along with fundraising and other grade 4 activities for the remaining months of the year. If you are unable to attend, please read emails from the classroom teacher or the office to stay up-to-date. You can also reach out to any of the teachers or myself (Mrs. Kloschinsky) for an update. We look forward to meeting with all parents! We can’t wait to share some fun plans for our grade 4s to enjoy before moving on to grade 5 next year!
REPORTING AN ABSENCE ONLINE
We are so thankful for the parents who have started using our online form to let us know when their children will not be at school! It sure has helped to make our process more efficient in the mornings due to the large number of absences. You can always call and leave a message too – 780-987-3705.
