SPRING BREAK has arrived! The school was abuzz with excitement this week!
- The Easter Bunny came to visit the EI Pre-Kinder and Kindergarten classes on Thursday! 🙂
- Grade 4’s walked over to Riverview Middle School for a pancake breakfast! It was great for our students to get to know what their new school was going to be like!
- Our students achieved 500 Rad Raptors this week. As a reward, we all had a PJ/Stuffie day on Friday as well as a movie in the gym!
Today during our assembly we kicked off the 10th annual Spell-a-thon! This is a fantastic milestone that Mrs. Tewitiz and Mrs. Forchuk have organized for the past 10 years. The Spell-a-thon is not only a great way for students to learn high-frequency words, but it is our school’s largest fundraiser! Over the course of the past 10 years, we have raised close to $100,000! This money goes directly into our school to support things like guest speakers, technology upgrades, swimming lessons, just to name a few! Your support for this fundraiser is so appreciated! Please click here for more details about the fundraiser.
During the break; we hope you and your family are able to “Take Care of You!”. This is one pillar that I try to encourage our staff, students, and parents to encompass! As such, our staff will be turning off their emails at 4:00 today and won’t be responding until they return on Tuesday, April 2nd.
