ASSEMBLY UPDATE
We continued with our PATIENCE theme this week with a virtual assembly. We were delighted to have Constable Lackie as a guest at our assembly. TJ and Jasper from 4B were fantastic co-hosts and grade 3B supplied George and Zahara to share a couple of jokes with us. All of our student guests were a wonderful addition to our assembly and their enthusiasm was appreciated! Congratulations to all of them on a job well done!

Congratulations on this Week’s Draw Winners! We had more Pop-Its to give away.
Just a reminder to all: every student in the school has their name entered into this free draw. If we draw a name and the student is not in attendance, it goes back into the bucket and a new name is drawn. These draws are simply to create a bit of fun and excitement at the end of our assemblies and are purely luck. They are not connected to student achievement or conduct. We have had a few questions regarding our draw and we hope this clarifies things for you!

REMINDER: FROM THE RBES FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE
Remember to save the date for our First Annual Carnival. Our committee has been hard at work to create a fun family event!
There will be some awesome family fun to be had: lots of kid games, crafts, family photo booth, a concession, and a free family fun zone. We will be hosting a 50/50 draw and some lucky duck will win a large cash prize. There will also be an exciting “Chuck-a-Duck” game, that many of our parents and adult community members may be interested in playing. Sound like fun? Don’t forget to save the date and keep watching this update for more details!
This event is open to all community members. Let’s support RBES in their efforts to build a new playground for both their school and our community.
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETINGS ARE COMING SOON!
Please consider coming out to join our School Council or our RBES Fundraising Committee. Both of these groups do great work in creating fun events for our school community and providing much needed funds for our school.
We are always looking for new members! The time commitment is what you want it to be. Be a regular attender or come when you can. We realize that everyone’s lives are busy and we appreciate all the help we can get.

Pre-K and Kinder OPEN HOUSE
Come meet our staff and visit our Pre-K and Kindergarten classrooms. This is a drop-in-style open house and we look forward to meeting future families and students!
Don’t forget to REGISTER as we are currently doing our fall planning and this helps us plan our staffing more accurately.
