CELEBRATING OUR OFFICE TEAM
We are so very blessed to work with such an AMAZING office team! Our students and staff all came together to celebrate Mrs. K on Monday for National Principal’s Day. Mrs. K was quite speechless and once the shock wore off, she was very teary with gratitude for all of her wonderful staff and students.
On Friday we celebrated our WONDERFUL secretaries. What a fun day that was! We got the students involved in writing wonderful messages. Our girls floor hockey team helped to sneakily decorate the office and some of our fabulous grade 4s were even servers for a delicious homemade lunch. While they ate lunch at the “RBES DINER”, a representative from each class came to share messages, cards, and/or pictures. Our secretaries were just tickled pink with all the thoughtful messages and kind acts throughout the day. Here are a few pics from our Secretary Day Celebration!
ASSEMBLY UPDATE
We had our very first in person full assembly this past Friday. It has been two long years and oh how much fun it was! This month our theme is PATIENCE. We listened to a wonderful story called: The Very Impatient Caterpillar. It had such a great message on our theme. We really enjoyed this week’s co-hosts: Drake and Quinn. In a very surprising and fun moment, Quinn even managed to draw her own name to win the Oiler toque in the student draws!

GIRLS FLOOR HOCKEY UPDATE
Huge CONGRATULATIONS to our Grade 4 Girls Floor Hockey team! They played in a tournament at Corinthia Park School this past weekend and took home the silver medal. The final game was a nail biter and they lost by a narrow 4-3 margin.
THANK YOU to our coaches who spent lots of time getting our girls ready for this tournament and THANK YOU to all parents for taking the time to come watch and cheer our team on. Want to see more photos? Click the button below:
HATS ON FOR MENTAL HEALTH
Many of our staff and students participated in the Hats On For Mental Health day this past Wednesday. Our students did many Mental Health and Education Week special activities in their classrooms.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETINGS ARE COMING SOON!
Please consider coming out to join our School Council or our RBES Fundraising Committee. Both of these groups do great work in creating fun events for our school community and providing much needed funds for our school.
We are always looking for new members! The time commitment is what you want it to be. Be a regular attender or come when you can. We realize that everyone’s lives are busy and we appreciate all the help we can get.

This event is open to all community members. Let’s support RBES in their efforts to build a new playground for both their school and our community.
Pre-K and Kinder OPEN HOUSE
Come meet our staff and visit our Pre-K and Kindergarten classrooms. This is a drop-in-style open house and we look forward to meeting future families and students!
Don’t forget to REGISTER as we are currently doing our fall planning and this helps us plan our staffing more accurately.
