We have started a new “Rad Raptor” student recognition program that we kicked off in this past Friday’s assembly. Once the final details have been worked out, I will share in the assembly update section of the Principal’s Corner. Stay tuned!
PS. If your child has come home with the news that they are a Rad Raptor, it is true! We have had 6 so far and their name has gone into a very special draw. It is very exciting. More details coming soon!
SKATING
Wow! Thank you to all the volunteers that came out to help with skating. It really takes a village at times! We sure appreciated all of your help. A special THANK YOU to Mrs. Culp for coming out on the ice for a couple of days. Many teachers posted photos on their classroom blogs, so be sure to check there for some pictures.

DECEMBER HOT LUNCH
Hot lunch orders are due each Thursday ONE WEEK prior to each order. You have the option to order one week at a time or multiple weeks at a time in PowerSchool. If you have any questions, please contact the office.
RBES FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE
Our RBES Parent Fundraising Committee works hard to support our school and we have been fortunate to have a number of items paid for by this group. Over the last few years, they have mainly supported agendas, Mathletics, and classroom budgets for a few consumable extras. They try to put the rest of their resources, time, and energy into getting a new playground built. You can see an update below on the progress for the playground. It has been a truly challenging project and there have been dozens of grants applied for along with other fundraising efforts. Once they get to a certain amount, they can apply for a large matching grant and then funding momentum takes over and brings us closer to a new playground. Thank you to all of the committee members for their perseverance and hard work in their fundraising efforts. It is much appreciated!

CHRISTMAS CONCERT
We are working on preparing for in-person Christmas Concerts. Reminder: the dates for this and other RBES events can be found in our Google Calendar, which I have linked here for your convenience. You can also click on the calendar tab on this website.
We will have more information around dates, times, and other information in the next few weeks. For now please hold the date for: December 20 (Gr. 1-4) and December 21 (PK & K). We are looking at an approximate start time of 6:00 pm. We are still determining the format of each night and that may slightly change the start times. Please note: On December 20 (Gr. 1-4), there will be an afternoon dress rehearsal that starts at 1:00 pm. This will be a run through of the full program to allow us to sort out small details. There may be starts and stops to finalize some details, but parents are welcome to come and watch.
