THIS WEEK

Hello everyone! A few items to note:

1. Yay!! All verification forms are complete. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

2. Thursday is our Orange Shirt Day as there is no school on National Day for Truth and Reconciliation Day on Friday.

3. Please check PowerSchool and pay school fees as they are due.

4. We will have all the verification forms processed in the next few days. At that point in time we will be able to verify all the FOIP permission forms and our updates will be able to include photos for you to see / download from our communication.

5. Last year’s yearbook: we will notify families when this arrives. We have one page that has a new feature that utilizes some new technology. It is taking a bit of extra time to finish that last item. Yearbooks will arrive later in the fall.

TERRY FOX WALK / RUN

RBES had their annual school Terry Fox Walk / Run on Friday! What a fabulous day. Thank you so much to all the parent volunteers that came to be a part of the day. You are so appreciated! The students had their first school wide assembly to kick off the Terry Fox Walk. You can click on THIS LINK to see the assembly agenda.

We would like to extend a special THANK YOU to the Devon Lion’s Club for delivering apples and granola bars for our students to enjoy. The Lions Club let us know that Independent donated all the apples. We are so grateful to both groups for their support!!

REPORTING AN ABSENCE

With a focus on student safety, we appreciate you taking the time to let us know when your child will not be at school. To make it easier, we have this quick form you can use, or call the office and leave a message at 780-987-3705.

VERIFICATION FORMS

We can’t THANK YOU ENOUGH! This is a big September job for our school and it allows us to move forward with many things once it is complete.

As many of you know, we had a classroom contest for getting the verification forms completed.

Congratulations goes out to our top three classes:

4B – Mrs. Tewitz

They will receive a classroom prize next week!

HAPPY KIDS CHILDCARE
