Volunteer at RBES!
Volunteers are most welcome and are an integral part of learning at Robina Baker Elementary School! There are many opportunities to be involved with the school. If you are able to help out, please complete this form.
Volunteers are not just limited to parents or guardians. We welcome grandparents or other close relatives to volunteer at the school!
Before you volunteer at any Black Gold School you are required to complete this Volunteer Registration Form. Copies will also be available in the office when you check in for the first time.
Please review the RBES Volunteer Handbok. A copy will also be provided to you on your first day.
Terry Fox Run
On September 21 RBES students will be participating in the Terry Fox Run.
Permission forms are required, please complete the permission form on PowerSchool.
If you are interested in helping out, please contact your child’s teacher or quickly complete this volunteer form.
If you would like to support cancer research and donate to the RBES Terry Fox Fundraising page, please click here. We don’t encourage students to bring money to school, however, if that is your preference, we will collect toonies or cash donations on the day of the Terry Fox Run.
Friday Coffee Kick-Start
On Friday, September 8 we decided to try to help parents kick-start their Friday with some free coffee! RBES staff tried to catch all of the parents as they dropped off their kiddos in the morning to offer a cup of coffee. We hope to surprise parents again with another pop-up coffee stand!

Rad Raptors
We were excited to start up our Rad Raptor program this week! Students who have been caught being awesome get a Rad Raptor card and get to enter their name in a Rad Raptor draw. Great job Raptors! #radraptors
Back to School Bucks 50/50 Raffle
The Back To School Bucks Raffle ends next week!!
The proceeds from this online raffle will go towards building our school a new playground. We are so close to our goal and could be building as early as May 2024 with your support!
Tickets are only available online with 1 for $10, 4 for $20, 20 for $50 and 100 for $100.
Ticket sales end on Friday, September 15th at 3 p.m. The winner will be drawn at 3:05 p.m. on September 15.
New Hot Lunch
We are excited that the Parent Council will be coordinating the Hot Lunch Program this year!
You will not be ordering through PowerSchool this year. You will be ordering on HotLunches.net. If you want to participate in Hot Lunch you can set up your account now!
Create an account using access code BGHL then enter your kids and select which classroom they’re in.
Picture Day!
Tuesday, September 26 is Picture Day!
If your child is in K2 or PK2, your child will have their photo taken in the afternoon on Monday, September 25.
